First Rehearsal

We had our first rehearsal today for Alien. It went well but next week the work really starts.

One week to go...

Recently I was approached by a colleague at work, who is a member of the production team for an amateur dramatics group.  His group "Blue Moon's" is planning to put on a stage adaptation of Ridley Scott's "Alien".  After some discussions I was finally cast as Kane, the guy played by John Hurt and has his chest busted open by the baby alien.  This is a really big deal for me as I love the alien films and a great chance to get back on stage.

So, to the point of this post, there is just one week left until our first rehearsal.

I am both excited and scared.
